Financial Controller

• University graduate (finance-accounting)
• Expert accountant graduate
• ACCA in progress (graduate would be an advantage)
• Minimum 3 years in a similar job
• Minimum 2 years of audit experience with one of the Big 4 would be an advantage
• Computer literate (particular ERP or accounting software knowledge would be an advantage)
• Above average English proficiency
• Professional ability to develop interpretative and constructive thinking in order to reach the optimum solution
• The job holder must influence the others by discussions or by operational and procedural details.

On behalf of our client, an important player within the food and agriculture industry, covering a range of integrated businesses from agricultural production up to sun-flower oil processing, we are currently looking for a Financial Controller.

• Plans the finance controlling activity across the Group units
• Submits to the Group CFO various work and reporting procedures
• Supervise Budget forecast for all Group units
• Monitor adequate use of the software in order to register expenses as per the Budget structure
• Supervise the issue and then comment the actual vs. budget reports (monthly)
• Controls the follow-up of internal work procedures related to accounting activities
• Controls all monthly or occasionally reports in order to be done on time and according to quality standards of the Group
• Controls the financial statements according to international reporting standards
• Analyses the finance-economic activity based on synthetic accounting documents.
