Assistant Business Controller - FOOD INDUSTRY

• University degree in Economics-Finance-Accounting
• Work experience in accounting for at least 2 - 3 years
• Strong knowledge of the relevant Romanian and International Accounting legislation and regulations
• Strong interpersonal skills, team spirit, self motivation
• Very good organizational and analytical skills;
• Excellent Excel knowledge
• Fluency in English;

On behalf of our client, a leading agribusiness and food company we are looking for a Assistant Business Controller with the following main responsibilities:

• Calculate Discount and Rebates in accordance with Commercial Terms for KA and Distributors.
• Supervise cost of goods - industrial part /variable and fixed/
• Prepare monthly financial reports to the management group
• Volume reports for weekly sales
• Summary reports for calculation by customer, product and amount of rebates
• Customer follow up for AR with Credit Controller
• Analyze trial balance for cost and income accounts
• Assist when performing economic analysis or evaluating financing and investment effectiveness
• Reconciliation for inventory at month end with accounting dept
• Ensure timely, accurate and complete records verification and processing of entries in local ERP system
• Ensure the compliance with all statutory, financial and corporate requirements
• Maintain a good relationship with the other departments and offering the needed support
