CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
University degree in computer science or related field with 2+ years software industry experience;
Hands-on experience and coordination of software testing, networking, web-based and client/server applications;
Good understanding of QA methodology and management (a related training is a bonus);
High analytical skills;
Strong system knowledge in Windows, Unices (Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, Solaris) environments;
Background in network protocols, infrastructure or computer security;
Knowledge of the most used protocols: SMTP, HTTP, FTP, SMB and shell/Perl scripting programming;
Ability to quickly adapt technical concepts;
Self-motivated and proactive to solve problems and accomplish assignment independently;
Strong verbal and written communication skills;
Good knowledge of English language in writing and speaking (the German language is a plus). |
RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
Plan and coordinate testing of server and desktop based security software on Windows and Unices platforms to ensure timely, high quality releases- co-work with other functional departments and provide technical consultation to the extended team;
Manage the implementation of automated tests;
Supervise technical support to AVIRA customers of Windows and Unices solutions;
Keeping high-level customer satisfaction.
