Purchase Engineer

- Experience as purchaser (in automotive industry if it's possible)
- Mechanical Engineer
- Knowledge in marketing, in mass production industry, in management

Our company, located in Brasov, is extending its activity. Therefore we are currently recruiting talented and ambitious people seeking careers in Purchasing as Purchase Engineer.

Key responsibilities:

 Production Components Purchasing:
- He/she must coordinate the purchasing tasks within the Project Team.
- He/she ‘s responsible of the quality, costs, delivery and service of the suppliers by anticipating and by following the setting up of capacities and by treating internal demands with the suppliers.

 Budget, Reporting and Saving management:
- He/she has to establish the components cost budget in link with Commodity Team.
- He/she knows how to use Purchasing tools to edit and analyses Purchase reports and perform the necessary price/quantity adjustments or changes.

 Develop Autoliv standards at the suppliers and verify their application.
- He/she has also to promote and to spread out the “Autoliv Production System” (APS).
- He/she participates in the continuous improvement steps at the supplier by coordinating and following the progress plans.

 Management and communication:
- A Purchase Engineer plays the role of interface between the suppliers and the Autoliv group.
