RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
We are seeking a highly motivated senior software engineer with superb design and implementation skills to join our core engineering team.
Candidates with a strong research background and new product development experience are encouraged to apply. Qualified candidates should have demonstrated depth in at least one of the following areas, and broad knowledge of all:
* TCP/IP networking and protocol design
* Design and implementation of distributed and high-peformance systems
* Application-level security
* Cross-platform (Unix/Mac/Windows) application and embedded programming
* Implementation of file systems and related storage services
Candidates should also be highly proficient in C/C++ and Java, and experienced with standard Windows, Unix, and Mac development environments and tools. An interest in media-related applications, compression formats, and workflows is a plus.
In addition, we are looking for individuals who:
* Have a minimum degree of BSc in Computer Science/Engineering or related discipline (graduate degrees preferred);
* Have at least three years of professional software development experience or graduate school equivalent; and
* Thrive in a self-starter, non-hierarchical environment, including independently initiating, organizing, and executing needed work in varied areas;
* Have excellent written and verbal communication skills;
* Desire to change the world of network data delivery (!)
