| CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
The ideal candidate should have a university degree in nature conservation related fields (ecology, biology, silviculture,etc) and previous experience in project coordination and development. Previous work in international organizations or projects is a plus. Experience with multi-partner or community based projects is an advantage.

| RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
The Project Coordinator will be part of the team of a LIFE Nature Project, funded by the European Union:
"Conservation and integrated management of Danube Islands Romania"
The project will include activities for designation of the entire project area as a Natura 2000 area, development of management plans for 8 of the protected sites and practical implementation on key islands, as well as creating safe and suitable conditions for the bird species
Overall job requirements:
To provide the Project manager, project staff and Steering Committee members’ with support in administrative and financial activities required to be undertaken locally for completion of the LIFE Nature Project.
Main tasks:
1.Maintain a proper accounting and financial reporting system necessary for running the LIFE Project locally
2.Provide support for purchase of goods and services in accordance with the Romanian laws and regulations.
3.Provide support for Partners staff on project matters
4.Provide administrative and logistical support for Steering Committee Meetings.
5.Supply communication materials to project team and Steering group
6.Supervise implementation of conservation tasks at the breeding sites
7. Provide up to date information to project web site
8.Prepare Financial Reports.
9.Provide document production support and logistical support for Technical Report Production.
10. Provide document support for Monitoring reports production
11. Supervise production of public awareness and training materials (leaflets, brochures, course package)
12.Submit outputs from the public meetings to the Steering Group
The position will be located in the WWF office in Bucharest, but will require frequent travel to the project sites, in the county of Calarasi, Romania.
