| CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
1. At least 2 year experience in fundraising and communication.
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
3. Higher education: economy, communication or social work.
4. Task oriented combined with strategic planning, budgeting, assessment and analysis.
5. A good command of English language (verbal and written).
6. Good MS Office and Internet skills.
7. Able to work under pressure and to manage time.
8. Motivated, dynamic, optimistic and innovative in identifying and using any fundraising opportunity.
9. Ability to develop and sustain positive relationships with representatives of agencies, institutions, companies, organisations.
| RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
1. Raise awareness of the charity's work, aims and goals and to increase the contributions of individuals, groups and companies by building and maintaining profitable, long-term fundraising relationships and exploring new fundraising ideas.
2. To develop new and imaginative fundraising activities, many of which will be events-based.
3. To developing and coordinate web-based fundraising.
4. Working with all forms of media, and producing supporting materials such as posters, websites and newsletters to promote, market and advertise forthcoming events.
5. Raising awareness of the charity and its work, at both a local and national level - this may involve giving talks to groups or dealing with the media.
6. Increasing funds through researching and targeting charitable trusts whose criteria match the charity's projects and activities.
7. Promotes and improves the image of the centre and its services/activities/projects.
8. Prepare or edit organizational publications for internal and external audiences.
9. Plan and direct development and communication of informational programs to maintain favourable public perceptions of the centre’s accomplishments and agenda.
10. Arrange public appearances, lectures, contests, or exhibits for the public to increase service awareness and to promote goodwill.
11. Consult with advertising agencies or staff to arrange promotional campaigns in all types of media.
12. Plan and conduct public opinion research.

AMURT (Ananda Marga Universal Relief Team) is one of the few private voluntary organizations of Third World origin, being founded in India in 1965. AMURT Romania was established in 1990 shortly after the onset of the social revolution. The initial needs assessment for Romania revealed a pressing need to help the numerous abandoned and neglected children in the country.
We (AMURT) believe that the best assistance is that which encourages and enables people to develop themselves, and therefore we emphasize educational programs, and programs that lead towards socio-economic independence, as well as shorter term relief distribution and aid.
Our present mission is to infuse Romanian homeless youth with a purpose in life, empowering them to become responsible, contributing members of the society, and attain personal socio-economic independence.
