a member of the World’s largest steel distributor and processor with more then 500 sites located throughout the world in more than 30 countries is currently in the process of enlarging its sales force in Romania and is looking to recruit experienced

AREA SALES REPRESENTATIVES

that will join the company on its way to becoming one of the leading distributors of steel products and services in Romania.

Task and responsibilities

Area sales representatives role will involve:


• Establish and maintain current customer and potential customer relationships;
• Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific target and to project the number of contacts to be made
• Follow up on new lead and referrals resulting from field activity;
• Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts;
• Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up;
• Identify and resolve customer concerns
• To attend to company profitability and customer loyalty orientation;
• Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals;
• To manage his/her customer portfolio in cooperation with sales support colleagues according to agreed business development strategy
• To monitor, analyze price development, ensure info-flow across organization and take measures
• To be responsible for entries into business relationships, set business conditions in line with group policies
• To monitor sales transaction cycle in order to ensure customer satisfaction
• To be responsible for monitoring debts and cooperate on their collection;
• Other duties as assigned;

Successful candidates should have:

• Minimum of High school education, Bachelor’s degree will be considered as an advantage
• 2+ years of experience in steel distribution business or distribution of industrial products strongly preferred
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Working knowledge of English language
• Outstanding listening, verbal and written communication skills,
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of customer personality types. Ability to interact well with highly educated technical customers;
• Team goal oriented with a focus on achieving team sales performance targets;
• Strong ability to identify customer needs, problems in the sales process and solutions using ArcelorMittal products and services;
• Flexible, persistent
