| CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
Our FOODLOG business unit offers customers from the manufacturing and retail sectors an extensive range of tailor-made logistical solutions for liquid foodstuffs – throughout Europe. In support of our sales activities in Southern Europe, we are currently looking for a high-calibre individual to join our team in Romania:
Area Sales Representative
Responsibilities:
* Acquisition of new customers
* Manage and develop existing customer base (active customer relationship management)
* Act as interface between customers and operational unit
* Attend to enquiries, calculate freight rates and prepare quotations
* Monitor food market in Romania and seize opportunities for business development
* Assume sales and profit responsibility for specific customers
* Contribute to budgeting process
Requirements:
* Vocational training with a focus on freight forwarding (equivalent to Speditionskaufmann/-frau in Germany) or university degree, preferably with a major in Transport/ Logistics, or several years' experience in the field of transport logistics
* Proven track record in B2B sales within the logistics or food industry
* Experience of working at an international company considered advantageous
* Fluent command of Romanian, together with excellent knowledge of English or German at negotiating level
* Well-developed abilities in MS Office
* Strong communication skills
* Assertiveness and ability to influence at all levels
* Willingness to travel
