Qualifications:

Information Science degree/diploma at university
Two to four years of work experience as a software developer, of which at least two years of demonstrable experience with Java / J2EE.
Knowledge of and experience with Servlets, JSP, (Custom) Tag Libraries and (D)HTML.
Knowledge of unit testing (JUnit), Hibernate, Tomcat.
Knowledge of and demonstrable experience with SQL databases and XML technologies, including Web Services and XSL(T).
You are fully familiar with OO thinking and the development of OO applications.

You are responsible for the design, coding and implementation of a diversity of Java applications (business-facing, internet-based, back-office, front-office, etc.).
You are responsible for managing complete (sub-)projects, and for coordinating all Java-related (technical) aspects in particular.
You are able to convert an object-oriented (OO) design into an application powered by internet technology.

Rather than throw you in at the deep end, you will be encouraged to draw on the skills and expertise of other (senior) specialists within the team.
