Work Experience:
At least 3 years of experience in the field of IT with technical background
Specialist requirements
1. Required:

• ADVANCED/EXPERT DATABASE MANAGEMENT-DB2, ORACLE
AIX know-how with proven practical experience
• LINUX (Red Hat)-know-how with proven practical experience
• Script language (Perl)- know-how with some experience
• IP network know-how
• Monitoring systems Tivoli or BMC know-how
• Language skills:
o Romanian (perfect in spoken and written)
o English (fluent in spoken and written)

2. Preferable:
• Language skills: German

Objectives:
• Responsible for trouble-free and uninterrupted operation of all server and operating systems in the framework of the outsourcing project.
• Responsible for performing batch-operation on schedule and correctly.
• Planning, performance and documentation of maintenance work during defined time slots not during office hours.

Principle task/responsabilities:
• In the framework of central system administration for operation
o Monitoring of access data of servers and operating systems
o If needed, administrative tasks during and off office hours
o Planning, performance and final control of batch-operation
o Preparation of cyclical reports on availability and capacity utilisation of servers
o Performance of administrative tasks before and during the operation of new individual software
o Care and administration of relevant monitoring systems
o First and second level support for problems regarding servers or operating systems
o Monitoring and documentation of support cases with producers

• In the framework of central system administration for maintenance of servers and operating systems
o Loading updates and batches of operating systems
o Analysis of trends in order to figure out potential capacity bottlenecks
o Change of operating systems to latest version
o Operation of new batch-jobs

• Support of development and implementation process of individual software
o Consulting of development team regarding questions of operating systems
o Analysis of trends when new individual software is launched
