MYSQL DBA

- At least 3 years of experience as a DBA on major DBMS like MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS Sql
- At least 2 years hands-on administrator experience in MySQL Enterprise (administration, replication, clustering), SQL script writing and debugging, application code tuning techniques.
- Experience in Linux and shell scripting.
- good English language skills (verbal and written);

DB2 DBA

1.Proven DB2 DBA experience in Linux (AIX)
2. Hands on experience in DB2 installation, configuration, setup, Performance Tuning and Problem Determination
3. Hands on experience in configuring DB2 High Availability configurations
4. University Graduate with min 4 years experience.

MYSQL DBA

The MySQL DBA will be responsible for the administration of MySQL v5.1 enterprise databases in InnoDB/myISAM mode in production/QA/dev environments. Administration will include installation, configuration, monitoring, optimization, tuning, troubleshooting, backup, recovery and upgrades.
The MySQL DBA will also be responsible for designing, implementing and supporting a formal High Availability (HA) and Redundant solution, preferably based on clustering or replication.
Furthermore, the MySQL DBA will be responsible for implementing a formal backup and recovery solution with documentation.
DBA will also be responsible for optimizing schemas, queries and indexes, quickly diagnose database and server problems and employ preventive measures to maintain high availability servers and mentoring JAVA software engineers to develop applications that interact with MySQL in a SOA environment.

DB2 DBA

Responsibilities:
1.Day-to-day administration of DB2 databases;
2.Installation and configuration the DB2 client and different applications;
3.Planning the logical structure and overall design of the databases;
4.Planning for backup and recovery of database information;
5.Enrolling users, creating and granting appropriate roles for them;
6.Controlling and monitoring user access to the database;
7.Permanent monitoring and maintaining the database security, incidents reporting;
8.Monitoring and optimizing the performance of the DB2 database client software oriented;
9.Ensuring the DB2 database maximum uptime;
10.Supporting the application specialists to efficiently utilize the database;
11.Creating and maintaining documentation for procedures related to the administered databases.
