Responsibilities include managing a staff of about 200 employees working in the production and maintenance departments. The machinery, equipment and processes are varied and complex. Our client manufactures tablets, liquids and soft gel capsules and packages the products in blisters and cartoning machines - all in controlled clean room areas subject to strict rules and regulations which govern the pharmaceutical industry.
Cerinte:
Key tasks in general will be to:
1. Reorganise the production department
2. Improve company productivity (review staff levels, responsibilities, production scheduling, maintenance scheduling, training etc.)
3. Develop a team spirit amongst the maintenance and production staff
4. Formulate performance reward packages for / empower the maintenance and production staff
5. Improve production management, information flow and communications within the departments
The position will report into the general director.
