AREA MANAGER SALES & MARKETING

• Considerable knowledge of routes to consumer of FMCG within the area;
• Experience of managing a sales/ promotion/
merchandising team;
• Very good knowledge of local market;
• Very good knowledge of English;
• Formal analytical and reporting skills are essential;
• Key account , merchandising , promotional
experience and control of all aspects of a small
team are highly appreciated;
• Excellent team player, committed, results oriented,
dynamic and able to work under pressure;
• Able to travel extensively.

Our client is one of the World’s largest manufacturers of consumer products and is in the process of expanding its operations in Romania . Our client is now looking for to develop their local operation by appointing a high calibre professional to cover the region of South -West Romania:

Area Manager will be responsible for implementing sales and marketing strategies with the objective to strengthen the brands market position, to grow the company’s business and to support long term company objectives.

• Reports to the Romanian Head Office in Bucharest

• Secure yearly business and growth in the traditional trade through increased distribution, promotion efficiency and excellent new product launch;

• Develop a strong local key account customer network to achieve further growth of the business;

• Implement commercial policy and promotional plans with distributors and retail customers;

• Regular visits in the field to supervise the activity of the distributor sales representatives and to coordinate business development with key customers;

• Supervise distributors supply chain to improve service quality to customers;

• Build strong relationships with distributor key stakeholders and their teams.
