Quality Assurance Software Engineer

EXPERIENCE
- University degree in Computers Science, Mathematics, Business IT, or related discipline;
- Good problem identification skills;
- Ability to understand business and functional requirements;
- Ability to work with developers and QA team members to produce and execute test cases for data testing;
- An understanding of relational databases concepts and structures.
- Knowledge of the most used protocols: SMTP, HTTP, FTP, SMB, IMAP, POP3;
- Ability to quickly adapt to new technical concepts;
- Self-motivated and proactive to solve problems and accomplish assignments independently;

ASSETS (not required, but highly valued and appreciated)
- Experience in software testing;
- Familiarity with testing tools, automated testing tools, and bug tracking/reporting systems represents a plus;
- Good understanding of QA methodologies and processes are considered a plus;

PERSONALITY
- Excellent interpersonal skills and team player
- Good analytical & conceptual skills.
- A motivated person ready to take on challenges;
- English language at advanced level
- Must be able to adapt to changing priorities;

- Create simple, understandable and detailed Test Cases document
- Conducts tests and prepares understandable reports and detailed defects description
- Review and comment on product specifications and designs
- Create test plans and test cases, including automated tests
- Act as customer advocate; provide product feedback and submit enhancement requests
