Knowledge and skills:
B.S. or M.S. degree (degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent is a bonus).
3 to 5 years equivalent experience industry experience.
Able to plan and manage workload for a team
Expert in areas they are leading
Ability to understand complex requirements technical information
Can achieve goals by transforming those goals into actions and processes to achieve those goals
Able to work independently to identify issues, define architecture, develop & track schedule, assign & track tasks
Communicates effectively with team and other groups
Understand the tradeoffs between schedules and quality be able to make appropriate trade-offs
Challenges and empowers team members
Able to represent team to external groups
Strong foundation in development process, best practices and design patterns
Strong technical background with web-related technologies

Responsibilities:
Activities of software development and software implementation
Work independently and own multiple features of the product
Interact with functional peer groups and/or other teams
Transform specs requirements into functional and measurable
Create development plans and schedules
Act as advisor to team and should become actively involved, as required, to meet schedules and resolve problems
Provide work feature status to management
