Reservoir Engineer

Responsible for actively monitoring the production performance on existing fields in order to maximize recovery from these fields, performance of reservoir simulation studies as required and generate production forecasts, supporting new field development planning, project management of outsourced reservoir engineering studies, preparation of relevant parts of well programs in partnership with drilling and geoscientists, assistance in preparation of appraisal and field development program. This position requires reservoir engineering support to asset, including reservoir simulation modeling, well test analysis, production forecasting and economic analysis, formulate and execute agreed technical programs for each asset, provide reservoir engineering input into new business opportunity evaluations.

• Applicant must have experience with oil and gas and compliance with Romania Norm regulations for oil and gas production.
• Applicant must be well spoken in English and Romanian and have competent computer skills.
• A University engineering degree is required.
• Must have 3 years experience. International experience preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• This position is based in Ploiesti.
