Operations Geologist

Responsible for undertaking evaluation of offset data before beginning operations, planning and closely supervise all aspects of geological operations, well site supervision for well service activities (open and cased hole logging, perforating, production logging, etc.), keeping detailed records and writing reports/logs, and ensuring the transmission of these. This position will carry out the planning and closely supervise all aspects of geological operations to ensure that well objectives are achieved on time and within AFE limits.

• Applicant must have experience with oil and gas and compliance with Romania Norm regulations for oil and gas production.
• Applicant must be well spoken in English and Romanian and have competent computer skills (GeoGraphix-Landmark PC, preferred).
• A University degree is required.
• Must have 3 years experience. International experience preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• This position is based in Ploiesti with primary work at well sites throughout Romania.
