CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
The successful candidate will work as part of a developing team in the British Embassy's Risk Assessment Unit (RAU).
The work of RAU primarily centres on the identification of UK visa fraud and abuse. The analysis of data and trends will additionally assist in identifying applicant profiles, enabling low-risk visa applications to be dealt with promptly and efficiently and allowing high-risk applications to be more thoroughly checked.
The principle duties of the RAU assistant will include:
- Providing administrative support to the Risk Assessment Officer
- Assisting with compliance checks
- Internet checks/research
- Liasing with local banks, educational establishments, recruitment agents, etc.
- Data entry
- Liaison with VISA issuing posts, UK VISAs, other RAUs and UK law enforcement agencies
- Some translation responsibilities |
