Lead Developer

Job Purpose

To define detailed technical specifications and manage a technical team to deliver solutions which meet customer and Amaze requirements

Accountabilities

• Define & produce detailed technical specifications to satisfy customer requirements
• Produce detailed code sheets & delegate the programming of the technical solution to the development team
• Provide technical direction to the development to assist in the build process
• Participate in the recruitment and development of development team members
• Ensure any requests for programming changes are agreed with the Project manager
• Responsible for obtaining sign-off from the customer and Project manager to the final technical design
• Ensure all development work is delivered within budget and delivery time scale.
• Maintain and develop technical skills in line with Company, market and industry direction

Competencies/ Experience Required

• Graduate or equivalent in computer science or software engineering
• Programming experience including in digital environments to include asp.net
• Excellent technical skills including detailed experience of system software to a high standard
• Good understanding of the issues and constraints (e.g. hardware platforms, networking, etc.) of developing technical solutions for interactive digital media
• Experienced in managing and leading a team of up to 10 developers
• Customer focused
• Excellent communications
• Planning and forecasting
