Senior Accountant

•To ensure a proper accounting according to the local legislation and according to the company policy and procedures;
•To support the company’s management in all financial and accounting issues.
•Required background competencies
•University degree, preferably in accounting/finance
•At least 5 years relevant experience in a similar position in a multinational company;
•Proven background of the Romanian accounting and tax issue;
•High proficiency in using MS Office, spreadsheet applications and accounting software (experience with Wiz Count is an advantage);
•Fluent English (speaking and writing);
•Positive “can-do” attitude, self-starting and result oriented person;
•Analytical thinking, Excellent inter personal communication and organization skills;
•Able to work under pressure.
•Experience in data recalculation and reporting to a foreign mother company;
•Experience in payroll accounting (calculation, payment, filing);

•To perform professional accounting work requiring theory and practical knowledge of recording, classifying, analyzing and advising on financial transactions;
•To ensure compliance with tax regulations;
•To deal with all taxation matters;
•To deal with financial authorities;
•To prepare monthly accounting & financial statements according to RAS and US GAAP;
•To be responsible for timely and accurate monthly closing process;
•Reports directly to Director of Finance & Operation in Alvarion SRL.
