Investor Relations Associate

The successful candidate should have a strong academic background, and although previous investor relations is not required, the ability to be a pro-active and practical self-starter is integral to the success of the role. The logistical element of the role requires an individual with outstanding organisational and planning expertise and proven analytical and computing skills. Excellent written skills are essential, as you will be overseeing the quality of written enquiries, preparing statement letters and liaising with the press. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a marketing or communications role within the financial sector.

The main focus of this role is to maintain and ensure a high standard of quality control within all communications to end investors including brochures, Web site content, letters and corporate literature. A key part of this role is to compile and analyze data from different sources and departments, both internally and externally.
Duties include:
- manage the investor database
- perform administrative responsibilities including travel arrangements, mailing, event planning and investor/media phone calls
- maintain "current" investor package documents, including fact sheets, publications and financial reports
- ensure that all web content for Investor Relations section is up to date and accurate, as well as working with other departments to ensure that information is accurate and timely
- manage press release distribution
- assist with all IR reports to management
