WIMAX Radio Network Engineer in TIMISOARA

Mandatory requirements:
- Technical University degree (ETC, AC)
- Knowledge of the following protocols: TCP/IP, HTTP, DHCP, FTP
- English (read, write, speak) - advance level
- Good communication skills due to the links between all the different teams from specifications to design and final customers
- Flexibility, adaptability to changing situations and tasks
- Ability to work under pressure and ability to deal with customer on the field
- High availability to work abroad and if required in overtime mode.

Desirable competencies:
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix usage is advantage
- Good understanding of the Wimax system and topology
- Relevant experience in Radio or Telecom field

THE JOB IS LOCATED IN TIMISOARA

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design of WIMAX cellular networks, preparing architecture and radio validation of sites according to customer coverage requirements. Definition of necessary analogue measurement campaigns required to calibrate the prediction tool.
- Realization of coverage and performance plots with planning tool, in field coverage acceptance through radio measurements.
- Configuration of cells and antenna systems, checks and proposal of Wimax radio parameters for each phase of the network necessary for network deployment.
- Fine tune of existing parameter for better performances. Daily/weekly monitoring of KPI (performance indicators), adjacent reporting, opening investigation when problems detected.
- Perform the necessary verification campaigns (coverage, quality of service) in the field in order to prepare customer acceptance and commercial launching of the service.
- Perform IP traces during all phases of project for troubleshooting if necessary .
- Escalation at support team if system problem detected.
