| CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
- University degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering
- In-depth understanding of networking or telecommunications principles
- Working or detailed knowledge of one or more of the following legacy and next generation technologies: Data/IP, Switching, Voice (TDM, VoIP)
- Experience in customer service delivery will be an advantage
- Proficiency in English (both oral and written) is mandatory
- Fluency in German, French, and Italian will be an important advantage.

JOB SUMMARY
The Romania GNOC (Global Network Operations Centre) is the operational gateway to all disciplines within our clients’ networks. We are a solutions driven, centralized organization that provides real-time, cross-domain proactive network-wide surveillance, network maintenance, network security and network control for multi-technology, multi-service, and multi-vendor networks. Its main functions are ensuring our client’s networks and services are operating at an optimum level, while retaining and improving network standards and integrity.
GNOC Centre of Excellence (CoE) Engineers use their technical skills and knowledge of systems and procedures within the GNOC to monitor clients’ networks and services. Their primary aim is to maximize network availability. The engineer provides network monitoring and surveillance, initial troubleshooting and maintenance escalation. This effort is directed at recognizing and resolving technical problems associated with these client networks and services.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prompt escalation & notification of major network faults and customer faults
- Professionally utilizing GNOC systems and procedures to monitor and maintain customer network availability & integrity
- Ensure network faults and customer faults are resolved well within agreed procedures
- Accurate & timely creation, updating and completion of all Trouble Tickets
- Provide prompt and regular feedback to customers in relation to on-going issues
- Tracking and directing the workflow of faults and planned events
- Producing network incident and periodic reports
