Project Manager

1. PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification or equivalent preferred.
2. Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Technology or related field.
3. Minimum 2 years of project management or IT Management.
4. Minimum 1 year experience coordinating and/supporting IT business processes.
5. Minimum 2 years experience working with international teams.
6. Scheduling and budget management experience.
7. Proven experience in strategic planning, risk management and scope change management.
8. Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, MS Excel and collaborative workspace tools (example: MS SharePoint)
9. Strong communication skills: written and interpersonal
10. Excellent English.

The Project Manager is responsible for managing the implementation, execution, control and completion of key Bucharest projects ensuring consistency with organizational strategy and goals. The Project Manager will be responsible for defining and driving project deliverables, and managing day to day project delivery tasks in Bucharest. Projects are expected to be delivered on-time, according to scope and within budgetary constraints.
This position is the Project Management liaison between Bucharest and the Cleveland Project Management Office for all projects. The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and communicating project schedules, status and risks to the PMO.
Main responsibilities include:
 Manages complex projects from planning to implementation.
 Plans project lifecycle deployment according to scope and objectives.
 Collaborates with the business to define requirements aligned with project objectives to enable delivery of business metrics.
 Defines resources and project schedules including key milestones with deliverables.
 Manages risk identification, mitigation and contingency planning.
 Efficiently identifies and dissolves project issues.
 Maintains project log of open issues, decisions and scope changes.
 Directs and oversees project team and manages conflicts within group.
 Tracks and report status.
 Provides input and/or performs team assessments and evaluations.
 Demonstrates key project leadership skills including assertiveness, communication, networking and collaboration.
 Maintains project management documentation and conducts lessons learned.
Strong organizational, presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills are critical. This position also requires critical thinking and problem solving skills, the ability to delegate, negotiate and resolve conflicts effectively. Adaptability and the ability to work in ambiguity is critical. Proficient in English, both orally and written.
