QA MANAGER - ADOBE Dreamweaver Team

Knowledge and Skills:

• B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
• At least 1 year of management experience
• At least 5 years of QE experience or equivalent industry experience
• Experience in quality assurance process with a focus on functionality and performance testing
• Experience working with Internet applications and/or server products
• Familiarity with unit test tools such as Selenium, SilkTest, JMeter or PHPUnit
• Experience testing client-server software.
• Working knowledge of SQL and database applications.
• Very good command of written and spoken English

• Experience in testing software for Windows or Macintosh

Nice to have:
• Knowledge in Javascript/AJAX/DHTML/CSS/XML
• Experience in creating/designing User Interfaces
• Experience programming in web technologies (PHP, Coldfusion, ASP, ASP .NET) and web authoring tools

Position Summary:

The Romanian Dreamweaver team is looking for highly motivated people to join the quality assurance team.
This person will lead the testing of important or at risk functionality to assure a higher level of quality. We’re looking for a person with excellent communication skills, to provide valuable expertise to multiple areas, as well as seamlessly taking on new pieces of functionality with little or no oversight. This person will communicate with customers to identify requirements, apply knowledge of the customer in design of new features and testing strategy, create and execute test plans and schedules for all areas of the project.

Responsibilities:
• Manage the QA Team within the Dreamweaver Romania Team
• Hire and train additional Quality Engineers reporting to you
• Sign off testing plan for various features
• Write quality plans, set workloads, supervise and evaluate the work of reporting Quality Engineers
• Discover and isolate product flaws quickly and effectively
• Manages use of automation related to specific projects
• Publish and interpret analyses of QA testing
• Coach and grow team members
• Improve existing quality processes; create and measure quality goals
