Senior Quality Engineer – ADOBE Web Infrastructure Team

Knowledge & Skills:

• B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years of industry experience.
• At least 3 years experience in quality assurance.
• Solid knowledge in QA processes and methodologies
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to understand and interpret product specifications
• Good time management skills
• Proficient in at least one scripting language
• Good problem solving and diagnostic skills
• Knowledge of web-related technologies (cross-browser issues, (X)HTML, JavaScript/AJAX, CSS)
• Basic SQL knowledge
• Familiar with various automated testing tools (JUnit, JMeter, Selenium) and procedures.
• Experience working with bug-tracking applications is a must.

Position Summary:

The Romanian Web Infrastructure team is looking for highly-motivated and skilled people to work in the development of a community-driven project that will change the way customers engage with Adobe content. As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for contributing to software specifications, designing test plans, and assuring that the project modules meet the required quality standards. The team will be a medium one (6-7 people). You will be reporting directly to the Engineer Manager of the team.

Responsibilities:

• Making sure the project meets the quality expectations of the end-user and the company standards.
• Work closely with the software developers to design product specifications.
• Write and maintain test specifications
• Write and execute automated test procedures
• Perform user, workflow and scenario testing.
• Communicate effectively with other quality engineers
