Poject Manager - ADOBE Dreamweaver Team

Knowledge & Skills:
• B.S. or M.S. degree (degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent is a bonus).
• 5 to 8 years equivalent experience industry experience.
• Can lead team of 5-10 people
• Able to plan and manage workload for a team
• Expert in areas they are leading
• Ability to understand complex requirements technical information
• Can achieve goals by transforming those goals into actions and processes to achieve those goals
• Able to work independently to identify issues, define architecture, develop & track schedule, assign & track tasks
• Strong leadership skills
• Communicates effectively with team and other groups
• Understand the tradeoffs between schedules and quality be able to make appropriate trade-offs
• Challenges and empowers team members
• Able to represent team to external groups
• Works with customers, marketing, and management, including attending and reporting on meetings with customers
• Strong foundation in development process, best practices and design patterns
• Strong technical background with web-related technologies (Javascript, Ajax, PHP, HTML, CSS, Coldfusion)
• Strong management and operational skills

Responsibilities:
• Directs the activities of software development and software quality assurance functions
• Leads team, plan and manage its workload by assigning work, monitoring and resolving problems
• Work independently and own multiple features of the product
• Provide direction and direct supervision to employees
• Interact with functional peer groups and/or other teams
• Transform requirements into architectural and feature specs
• Create development plans and schedules
• Act as advisor to team and should become actively involved, as required, to meet schedules and resolve problems
• Provide team and feature status to management
