Manufacturing Product Manager (Cluj-Napoca)

Adecco, the global leader in human resources is recruiting for one of its clients, a device manufacturing company, a Manufacturing Product Manager.

The ideal candidate should have:
- BA degree in engineering (electro-mechanical or electronics;
- 2 years directly related experience or 3-4 years overall professional experience;
- Strong project management experience;
- Knowledge and experience with structured problem solving methodologies;
- New Product Introduction experience;
- Electro-mechanical or electronics R&D background;
- 5S/Lean Manufacturing experience;
- Good English Knowledge.

General purpose:
Manages all relevant aspects of devices manufactured in the factory from launch, change management, improvements and ramp down. Works on professional engineering assignments to implement, maintain and develop methods and processes in a specific competence area.

Main tasks:
- Serve as main liaison between the factory, R&D and Product Programs for assigned devices;
- Coordinate product launch activities, such as software configuration, resource and process readiness, to ensure an efficient and effective ramp up;
- Management and scheduling of new product builds, Trial Runs, Ramp-up planning, Ramp-Down, variant implementation and product changes;
- Participation in Product Creation process during a product's lifetime as a production representative;
- Management of product improvement teams and activities, production situations analyzing;
- Management, leading and follow-up of improvement activities of product related Quality problems;
- Participation on other projects based on needs from other functions or departments;
- Responsible for product performance and quality.
