Area Sales Representative

Adecco, the world expert in connecting people both globally and locally with the talent they need and the work they want, is recruiting for it's client, a USA company in the field of pressure and temperature measurement tools, an Area Sales Representative.

The ideal candidate should have:

- University degree of engineering, preferable mechanical or electrical engineering;
- At least 5 years experience in similar position (sales)
- Good knowledge of measurement / instrumentation technology
- Good knowledge of English language;
- Computer skills - Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Internet Explorer);
- Strong personality;
- Reliable, credible, self-confident;
- Single-handed (self organization of trips to clients, accommodation, travel etc.);
- Motivated (willingness to perform, self motivational).

Main responsibilities:

Acquisition of new customers & direct sales to key account customers (company visits, product presentation and technical consultancy, calculation of prices, preparation of offers, participation in public tenders);

Distributor assistance (assist existing distributors in technical and commercial questions, find new distributors for full market penetration, visit costumers together with distributors);

Market research (investigation of market potential, market volume, competition, local technical requirements, macro-economic trends);

Various (sales controlling/budgeting/reporting to responsible area sales manager, consultancy with local authorities, etc);
