Project Buyer - Pitesti

- Knowledge of purchasing department operations, preferably in the automotive sector.
- Project team and project organization (preferably in the automotive sector).
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a Purchasing, R&D, Industrialization, Quality, Sales or Project function
- Postgraduate degree in Management or Engineering (a Ph.D. or MBA in Purchasing is a plus).
- Languages: English mandatory, French is a plus
- Computer skills: Proficiency in the use of IT tools (standard software).
- Disponibility to relocation in Pitesti, Mioveni area

Helps the project team to define the company requirement: objectives, functional specifications, schedules.
- Based on the knowledge of commodity purchasing strategies, make or buy choices, ensures that technological choices will not “lock in” the choice of suppliers, challenges the cost-breakdown of the final product into different components/functions, and ensures that component standards are complied with.
- Ensures that the right conditions exist so that best suppliers are able to propose the best solutions.
- Participates in the selection of suppliers, in close collaboration with the commodity buyers
- Integrates suppliers
- Initiates, when necessary, value analyses to meet target costs.
- Facilitates communication between suppliers and the various project team members.
- Manages the state of progress of suppliers’ project and validates the key stages.
- Checks that suppliers’ schedules are consistent with the project schedule and makes sure they are complied with.
- Organizes end of phase reviews with the supplier
- Draws up the indicators and monitors their evolution.
- Ensures that supplier projects comply with company’s procedures (contract signings, etc.)
- Provides feedback from the purchasing department and remains in coordination with the relevant family buyers and QA specialists.
- Monitors technical productivity field on serial vehicle linked to past projects
- Monitors the implementation of ressourcing actions
