International Project Manager

- Relevant university degree (economics, law etc);
- At least 3-5 years relevant experience from real estate agency or consultancy
- Excellent English skills, both written and spoken is a must
- Knowledge on other languages is an asset
- Good communication skills and able to talk with different types of clients
- Inspire confidence, overview and expertise
- Service minded, result oriented and able to prioritise tasks and meet all agreed dead-lines
- Able to handle confidential information
- Acting pro active and taking initiatives

AgroAdvice is new impartial agricultural advisory service. Our clients are professional Romanian farms run by Romanian or Foreign managers.

The advisory service is a joint venture between the Danish Agricultural Advisory Service (3,500 professional staff) and Agricover SA – the Romanian agribusiness company (1,000 staff).

Duties and responsibilities:
The International Project Manager will have contact to investors and managerial staff at farms owned by foreign investors as well as potential investors examine the Romanian market. The International Project Manager will support the client, identify their needs and take care of all coordination of type of advisory activities for the clients, including real estate service, land leasing contracts and application for subsidies from structural funds.


The International Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Implementation of investment project for foreign investors.
- Contact and presentation of potential investments possibilities to potential investors. In addition to these activities: land offer review, real estate market analysis, financial analysis.
- Follow-up and contact to lawyers, auditors, real estate agents, leasing companies, authorities and other advisers.
- Initiate the founding of companies and all the necessary steps for a company registration and establishing bookkeeping administration and report systems.
- Securing the fulfillment of the agreements and contracts made between the seller of projects and the foreign investor. Follow-up on deadlines established in the contracts and in Land Book registration.
- Follow up the investment process and ensure a full documentation of all steps in land acquisition investment process.
- Initiate compacting of agriculture areas already bought by foreign investors or as a next step in projects, initiative and follow up the collaboration between a real estate agency and the investors.
- Securing that all necessary registrations concerning tax, land operations, EU subsidies are made.
- Initiate application for EU subsidies and structure funds by collaboration with a project development company.
- On the internal line the International Project Manager would be responsible for reporting progress in the project to all parties involved and would be responsible for agreements made between the client and AgroAdvice; reports will be made for the superior.
- The International Project Manager is obliged to coordinate investment activities with the other activities going on in AgroAdvice for the benefit of the client.

Place of work: Bucharest office. Expect business trips within Romania for at least half of the working time.
