Drilling & Completion Team Leader

• Degree in relevant discipline such as Pertroleum or mechanical.
• Extensive experience and knowledge of drilling, completion and petroleum engineering functions.
• Experience in offshore work related to drilling, completion and work over activities.
• Ability to understand and build on concepts and ideas from other disciplines in business unit and subsea engineering.
• Influencing skills, planning, organizing and coordination skills.
• People management skills. 12 - 15 years work experience.

• Prepare 5 year and annual strategy and plans for future drilling and completion activities.
• Act as the main focal point between the drilling and completion team and the UZ and SU Reservoir development sub teams, and provide technical advice, support and solution to successfully implement the requirements for drilling and completion activities.
• Review and monitor the drilling , completion and workover programmes, rig activities, annual budget and AFEs (Authorization and Expenditure) prepared by ADMA -OPCO to ensure compliance with company's operational , technical and budget requirements.
• Review progress of Drilling, completion of workover operations of ADMA -OPCO on a daily basis and maintain contact with other concerned teams to ensure Well objectives are met successfully in the drilling and completion phase.
• Carry out lead studies and investigation aimed at improvement in drilling performance and completion designs and techniques, interact with Well Bore Engineering team to introduce new technologies and recommend better methods and techniques to ADMA -OPCO for implementation.
• Act as the main contact on behalf of SSE department for approvals, decisions etc. on matters related to ADMA -OPCO to facilitate smooth working.
• Supervise the preparation of various reports , rig activity bar chart, material and equipment requirement data ETC. IN A TIMELY AND ACCURATE MANNER.
• Visit rig sites in order to ensure all HSE requirements pertaining to drilling and completion operation are being observed.
• Guide, direct, train and develop all team members to perform to their best potential and work effectively together as a team.
• Work inline with the company HSE policy , ensure that subordinates are aware of, and comply with the HSE procedures, rules and regulations.
• Responsible for ensuring the implementation of plans for drilling and completion through an effectively and smooth working relationship with ADMA - OPCO. Decide priorities, bring in new ideas and technologies and provide expertise in the functional areas to achieve required performance standard and client satisfaction
