ETL Technical Architect and Designer

Technical Skills required:

• Relational data modeling
• Star schema data modeling would be a plus
• At least one database management system : Oracle or SQL Server
• Experience implementing ETL flows (either custom-coded or with an ETL tool)
• Experience with performance tuning of ETL flows
• One structured programming language (Cobol, Java, C++)

Other skills required:

- Good level of English
- Good level of French (advantage)
- A team-player

• Detailed design of technical architecture concepts and components for ETL flows : usage of staging areas, connection to data-stores, error-recovery handling, audit handling, multi-threading etc.
• Detailed design of each single ETL flow inc mappings of source to target data fields, data validations, data transformations
• Supervise ETL programmers, control progress
• ETL implementation reviews
• Coordination with onshore team
