Senior Accountant

- University Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Certified Accountant or similar qualification would be an important advantage(e.g. CA,CPA, ACCA, licensed auditor)
- 4+ years accounting/ taxation/audit area preferrably with Multionational Corporate
- Very good knowledge of Romanian tax legislation; Good knowledge of international accounting standards Annual Report
- Initiative and Anticipation;
- Analysis and Solving;
- Very good level of English Language (both written and verbal).

The Senior Accountant will ensure that all external and internal statutory accounting and reporting obligations are met.

- Responsible for Preparing the company¡¦s tax returns, ensuring that information are in line with the company¡¦s general ledger data as well as with national accounting/reporting standards and requirements and that the paid taxes are minimized within the Romanian law as well as within the company¡¦s policies.
TAX DECLARATIONS: Collect and analyze all relevant financial and economic information within the company in order to prepare complete and appropriate tax analyses/statements.
TAX ACCOUNTING: Control the company accounting from the tax point of view to ensure that all changes related to the tax laws will be put in to the practice, with respect to tax deductibility. Ensure all tax transactions are accounted for in accordance with Romanian regulations.
AUDITS, TAX AUTHORITIES: Closely cooperate with external auditors and Romanian tax authorities during the audit period and Fiscal revision in order to fulfill their requests and to support the company¡¦s image as a good and responsible corporate citizen and taxpayer.
TAX ANALYSIS: Prepare analysis and develop solutions for ad hoc tax issues in order to minimize the tax within Romanian legislation and the company¡¦s policies.
COMPLIANCE WITH CUSTOMS LEGISLATION: Ensure that all imports and exports performed by the company meet the requirements provided by national custom legislation.
- Intercompany transactions analyse from corporate tax point of view.
- Responsible for ad hoc financial and taxes requests
- Will be involved/participate in internal audit/control process
- Processing accounts payables invoices / other accounting entries according to internal procedures, accounting principles (IFRS and US GAAP) and legislation
- Ensuring the accuracy of all expenses records according to the Romanian Accounting Standards and the company internal procedures
- Will assist in the preparation of the Accenture financial statements
- Will assist in ad hoc project work concerning statutory issues
