ASSISTANT FINANCIAL REPORTING OFFICER (AFRO)

* University Degree, preferable Finance, Accounting;

* 2 years in external audit (with involvement in banking engagements) or in a similar reporting position within a bank;

* Appropriate understanding of banking activities and products;

* Appropriate understanding of financial reporting under IFRS;

* Good command of Excel;

* Ability to familiarize quickly with various reporting applications;

* Accurate and well organized working style;

* Good analytical skills;

* Very good command of both written and spoken English;

* Ability to cope with work under pressure and deadlines;

* Team spirit

* Prepare reports for financial and management accounting purposes in a timely and accurately manner for final review and submission to Head Office (under supervision of Financial Controller);

* Prepare ad-hoc reports required by Head Office as well as Local Management;

* Understand the accounting and management information systems and ensure timely and accurate updates in line with instructions from Head Office or business changes;

* Ensure that financial data is prepared and maintained in accordance with Head Office requirements (both for financial reporting and management reporting);

* Ensure proper and timely handling of the inquires from all internal clients (local as well as Head Office);

* Be continuously preoccupied with improvement of the reports according to users requirements;

* Participate in various assignments generated by new projects launched by Head Office.
