CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
Mandatory skills, knowledge & experience:
•Excellent spoken and written English
•Experience in Windows 2003/2008 servers in a heterogeneous Linux/Unix environment
•Experience setting up automated management tools and scripts
•Experience in complex server configuration and support
• MCSA/MCSE/ MCITP desired
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Understanding of Change Management frameworks such as ITIL.
• Proven experience in management of Windows 2003/2008 Server environments. Active Directory (domain and stand alone systems), IIS and MS SQL Server 2000/2005 administration are must-have skills.
• Experience setting up automated management tools and scripts
• Familiarity with RAID disk technologies.
• Familiarity with network infrastructure.
• Liaise with vendors and professional services.
• Knowledge of Server Applications.
• An understanding of patch management software.
• Familiarity with Backup software and strategies.
• Knowledge and understanding of network applications, web servers, email servers, firewalls, databases, file shares and print servers.
The successful candidate will have experience in several of the following areas:
Experience in Security in a Windows / Linux environment.
Nice to have skills:
•Management infrastructure tools (NAGIOS, OpenView etc)
• Linux Redhat / Unix
•Cisco Firewalls, switches and routers
•NFS / NAS / DAS
•VMWare ESX management and configuration.

RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
What to do:
• Provide 24/7 Microsoft Windows Server operating system support.
• Monitor server performance and availability.
• Ensure Windows server availability compliance to Service Level Agreements.
• Address operational systems issues including file and share permissions, user accounts and installing applications.
• Promote and maintain server patch management practices.
• Provide metrics for capacity management purposes.
• Monitor server load and implement load balancing where appropriate.
• Support and maintain Active Directory & IIS.
• Knowledge and support of Group policy.
• Provide Windows Exchange Email Server Support.
• Upgrade and replace server hardware where appropriate.
