Spectrum Power 4 - Technical engineer

Technical skills required:
Good knowledge in power engineering.
Good understanding of network components ( generators, transformers, cables/overhead lines, etc.)
Good electrical engineering background for network analyzing and network configuration.
Very good communication skills in English (and/or German)
Unix experience is a plus
Programming (C, C++, Java, Fortran experience is a big plus)

Non-technical skills required:
Team spirit
Communication skills

Project Description Spectrum Power 4 - DMS NA

DMS NA (Distribution Management System - Network Applications) represent a modules of Spectrum Power 4, a Siemens product used for monitoring and calculation of electrical network grid. The NA functions are analyzing the current state of the network from different aspects and calculate the power flow, short circuit conditions, optimization, etc. in a fast and comprehensible way.

The new member will work closely with the teams from Austria, Germany and USA.

Responsibilities
Analyze electrical networks from technical point of view.
Solve different project enhancement.

Travel
The team members will be requested to travel on site to the project or to different company locations from Austria or Germany
