Software Testing Engineer, team leader

Required:
• Good knowledge of
- Linux and Windows Operating Systems: installing, setup, operating
- PostgreSQL databases – installing, setup, using
- the TCP/IP protocol suite and IP network technologies
- QA processes (test plan design, test cases, testing and error reports)
• Basic knowledge of
- testing tools (defects management, version management, automated testing)
• English advanced language speaking and writing
• Minimum 12 months experience in a similar job
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to recognize errors
• Good communication and strong team working skills and an eye for detail
• Ability and willingness to learn and use new technology

Advantageous:
• Knowledge of JIRA (ideally including administration)
• Experience with agile development and testing (Scrum)
• German

Main Responsibilities:
• Test deuromedia software products, using testing methodologies and tools, in order to identify design and application errors
• Develop tools for automated testing
• Coordinate and manage QA related tasks
• Report to head of development
