NPI Buyer

Skills/Qualifications:
• Availability to relocate in Lugoj
• University degree (Technical degree is an advantage)
• Excellent communications and analytical skills
• Independence and decision power
• Ability to work in teams and a multi-cultural environment
• Fluency in speaking and writing in both German and English required
• Previous sourcing experience required (in New product development is an advantage)

Key responsibilities:
• Implements strategy, select appropriate purchasing tools and validates with users, and buy directly where applicable for the NPI (New Product Introduction) projects
• Liaises with Commodity Management to understand commodity strategy, and to feedback on NPI requirements, supplier performance
• Involve in supplier selection process, introduction of new suppliers and technologies and R&D partners, parts selection by driving the use of the preferred lists
• Review component specification after the evaluation and assessment of the requests for quotation and supplier negotiation
• Manage cost structure to answer the project’s cost estimations and set up supply chain to fit best the manufacturing location needs
• Ensure compliance with Purchasing Ethics, Sarbanes-Oxley 404, ISO and Corporate Standards, Values, audit rules, laws, etc
