We are searching for a colleague for the following position:

Junior Internet technologies technical support

in our Bucharest-based 24/7 technical support team.

What will you do?

You will….

... work in a 24/7 shift environment (including nights and weekends)
... investigate and resolve escalated technical issues from frontline support via the Fasthosts internal ticketing system;
... monitor Fasthosts network infrastructure as part of the departments’ 24/7 coverage and investigate any issues that arise;
... provide a quality level of service to both internal and external customers;
... maintain and improve personal knowledge of the products and services required to deliver the required level of technical competency;
And, most of all, you will be a part of our young and dynamic team.

If you have:

... basic understanding of windows or Linux;
... basic networking skills;
... good understanding and experience of email;
... good understanding of server technologies and hardware;
... some understanding of DNS;
... basic scripting experience;
... some Apache or IIS experience
... fluency in English (both written and spoken).
