Senior Java Developer

We are searching for a colleague for the following position:

Senior Java Developer

in our Bucharest-based development team.

What would you do?

You will….

…develop functional and detailed design requirements;
…write components for a variety of web based enterprise applications;
…become involved in the full application development life cycle;
…use well known open source frameworks;
…work with highly concurrent applications in distributed environments.

And, most of all, you will be a part of our young and dynamic team.

If you have:

…university degree in Computer Science or similar;
…minimum 4 years of professional experience with J2SE, at least 1 year experience with JDK 1.5 or above;
...excellent object oriented analysis and design skills (OOA/OOD);
...excellent algorithm & problem solving abilities and detail orientation;
... extensive knowledge of EJB ( preferably 3.0), JPA , HTTP Servlets, JAXP (DOM, SAX/StAX), JAXB, WebServices, RMI, JDBC, SQL, XML;
...extended knowledge of GoF patterns is required, along with knowledge about J2EE/Java EE design patterns;
...good experience with Scripting tools like Ant and/or Maven;
...knowledge of scripting languages like Javascript, JScript;
...knowledge of Java/J2EE Security concepts;
.. ability to design & develop more complex tasks and to mentor other team mates;
…good written and verbal English skills;
…good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.

Would be a plus:
.. development experience with Eclipse RCP, SWT/JFace, RAP;
...knowledge of German language.
