PROJECT ENGINEER - (code NSHI 42) Job Location: Romania Business Unit: Control Power Sections JOB PURPOSE: Provide Technical, Marketing, Sales and Operational support for the Cased Hole Completion/ Artificial Lift System Group in-line with Control Power Sections and Client Company policies, procedures and systems, statutory regulations and good industry practice. KEY ACTIVITIES: - Assist Operations Project Manager - Act as interface with Weatherford Engineering & Operations - Assist in Customer Acquisitions - Project Engineering and Management - Sales and Customer Support - Marketing Analysis - Provide rig site assistance as and when required, specifically for high profile or special projects. KEY PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE: Possess a general product line working knowledge of Control Power Sections products and completion systems in general, specialising in at least one particular Control Power Sections product line and one Artificial Lift System line. ESSENTIAL COMPETENCE: - Bilingual in English & Romanian Language - Good understanding in Hydraulic Engineers in Cased Hole Sections and Artificial Lift System - Excellent technical skills, i.e.; understanding engineering drawings and technical literature - Minimum of 5 years relevant offshore / field / rig site experience - Possess an excellent level of general education. - Good reading, writing, computer, mathematics, communications and literary skills. - Have excellent 'hands on' experience working with down-hole equipment, light machinery and hand tools. - Demonstrate a broad based knowledge of open hole and cased hole completion products, systems and their applications. - Be self motivated, pro-active and have the ability to work unsupervised.
