Realizari:

Jun 2010 – Nov 2011 New Farm - Investment
The deliverables of the 400,000 Euro project were:
• An advanced way to collect, separate, store and spread liquid and solid fertilizer that comes up from cow manure to the agricultural fields.
• A system to collect the pluvial water from the farm making a buffer for the fire extinction and dilution for the fertilizer.
The project was finished in time, aligned in scope with my internal customers, along with a budget savings of 5 percent. Additionally, the solutions complied with all the Water & Environmental requirements in place.

Other projects:
• Deliverable: A new pig line for cottage, a sterile line for fruit tanks during filling. Both projects come up from continuous improvement process. Initiator of one and responsible for both projects execution I have lead a team of local resources and international one. The project demonstrated a ROI in the predicted time – six months. The savings recovered the investment in the specified time above and is reducing the production cost significantly.
• Deliverable: Completed a refurbishment and upgrade of two buildings in the company’s farm. I was the Project Manager for this 45,000 Euro project that finished in the agreed time with the maximum client satisfaction. The capacity increased and the conditions for the calves improved significantly.

Innovate and Reapply:
• Reapplying aeronautic technology we have repaired and modified two filling machines. The repair cost was 15% versus the initial estimation done by the original manufacturer and executed by stopping the filling machine no more than 7 days offering an on-going stability of the production line. Machine capable now for set & stirred.
• I have convinced top management to switch to a new cup shape with higher stability on the shelf minimizing the occupancy space without decreasing the quantity. The new cup enabled an increase of 5% in sales for the SKU.
• I have designed and implemented a complete system for maintenance management. The entire maintenance team has learned to use the new system, minimizing the need for continual re-work while maximizing efficiency.

Operational Facts
• I have leaded the maintenance from a 100% reactive action to an 85% preventative action that lead to less production stops.
• Involved in implementation of OEE system. In two years the machines increased their OEE from 35% to 65%.

Realizari:

• More than 100 new repair schemes were validated and implemented in manufacturing / repair for all the products. This reduced the expenses for buying / repairing parts outside. Tests performed on the repaired parts before delivery during service life and after when the engine was come for overhaul.
• 9 important complex product modifications assimilated and validated. This gave the possibility to the company to sell up-graded products with higher safety level and / or capability level.
• By creating several main product versions the entire new products / repair / overhauling process was more standardized and the diversity of the products decreased. This reduced the problems in purchasing diversity and also standardized stocks;
• All the configuration of the complex products was introduced in SAP. Documents and manuals, drawings and modifications also.

• Inspection and releasing the parts on behalf of the customer as DSQR - Designated Supplier Quality Representative (for GEAE parts). No more than 0.001% complaints from end user airbase. As responsible for QC I also reinforced the inspection process directly where the characteristic is obtained by the operator.
• Involved in Kaizen events by setting-up manufacturing cells based on Lean Manufacturing concepts (team member for building 3 manufacturing cells).
• 90% of human errors were eliminated in quality documents also in inspection technologies forms and FAI packages, by implementing a specific database with ge-ae representatives.
• I have trained the people to use Excel and Access databases. A lot of time saved and redirected to make the processes better controlled.
• Inspection costs were reduced with 20% per P/N by measuring with dedicated fixtures and gages; Inspection errors significantly reduced by conducting Gage R&R studies mostly on the major, critical and “partner interface” characteristics.
• Trained as Green Belt in Six Sigma, I done several projects and participate as mentor /member for/in more than 25 different projects (in manufacturing).
