Realizari:

Within ProTV, I am currently in charge with managing the FP&A function for the Romanian TV station. Following the operational takeover of the Czech and Slovak businesses, I have been chosen to be part of the Romanian management (having Mr Adrian Sarbu as immediate supervisor) as corporate representative. The Czech & Slovak project is mainly focused of restructuring TV Nova (biggest Czech television) and TV Markiza Financial functions, which implies assessing and refining the current organisational structure (including interviews with potential candidates), management reporting needs, information flow, Sarbanes Oxley requirements, information systems, etc. Deliverables of the project: carefully collaborating with the rest of the Romanian team in order to assess the financial implications of any decision made, as well as providing a redesigned Finance org chart, an improved finance operational model, including areas such as budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, reporting, etc. Both ProTV and TV Nova’s headcounts are ranging around 600 employees. The day-to-day tasks within the Romanian station include taking charge of the planning and analysis side of the Finance Department, such as delivering station reports to CME London (using Hyperion and Upstream as reporting platforms), budgeting, forecasting, working capital, sales analysis, ageing reports, Capex, licenses acquisitions, etc.

Update 2008: during this year, CME has expanded its network in Bulgaria and Ukraine, needing important infusion of know-how in the above premises. As such, I have been in charge with providing consulting services to my peers in the Finance fields of expertise.
